Gliding on the water surface with SUP at Drava Center, cycling to Adventure park Betnava and at the end Geocaching!
Catching sun on the city beach at Limbuško nabrežje (embankment at Limbuš), by gliding on the water with SUP or in kayak and canoe! Then it is time to “mount” a bicycle and cycle to Adventure park Betnava, a true gym in nature, which brings new, real experience, embedded in the most beautiful Maribor forest. You can try 64 different elements, 7 different levels of difficulty, more than 700 m of climbing routes on trees, poles, and footbridges, 2 flying tracks, after 50 and 100 m and 11 different lengths of drops (zip line).

After that, you can satisfy your adventure spirit once more with treasure hunting. Geocaching is a modern form of treasure hunt with the use of GPS receivers. A global story, that can be understood as an adventure game, fun and sports at the same time. Suitable for researchers, families, and travelers, who come in search of a treasure from all over the world. And in Maribor, quite a lot of them are hidden. How much of an adventure spirit hides inside of you and how many treasures will you find?

Tour Details

DravaCenter is a unique estate at the entrance to the regional Park Mariborsko Jezero and NATURA 2000 area. We design the property in a modern recreational and tourism center in accordance with the green Tourism and sustainable development guidelines. With the vessels we rent in the center, it is possible to take a tour.

Activities for kayaking, canoeing, sailboat, SUP board, Slackline,… and sports activities at all Drava Center sports facilities are awaiting you. After 90 minutes of water enjoyment, we will visit Adrenalin Park.

Adrenaline parks last years have become a real hit among those who like to actively spend their leisure time. Guel on giant swings, climbing trees, dropping or making adrenaline fly on a steel wire, big trampoline… Both children and adults enjoy all these things.

Important Information
  • Adrenalin park: Children's track is suitable for kids aged three years and has 8 stations and 22m descent. On other routes, the condition is the height of the participant (from 110cm to 160cm depending on the route)
  • Geocache site: It is part of a worldwide game dedicated to GPS (Global Positioning System) users, called Geocaching. The game basically involves a GPS user hiding "treasure" (this container and its contents), and publishing the exact coordinates so other GPS users can come on a "treasure hunt" to find it. The only rules are: if you take something from the cache, you must leave something for the cache, and you must write about your visit in the logbook. Hopefully, the person that hid this container found a good spot that is not easily found by uninterested parties. Sometimes, a good spot turns out to be a bad spot, though

With the vessels we rent in the center, it is possible to take a tour of the variegated Animal and Plant Council of the landscape Park, relax with recreation on the beautiful Drava River or make a picnic with a boat.

Betnava Adventure Park offers the best way to distract children and others from screens, chairs and other ways of unhealthy leisure time. With different elements or playing young and less young people at heart develop motility, move, live healthier and feel the nature that the concrete forest, where everything is happening, is even more attractive.

Geocaching:

Geocaching is open to everyone with a GPS and a sense of adventure.  There are similar sites all over the world. The organization has its home on the Internet.
